Proofreading before you press submit
A careful final read for spelling, grammar, punctuation and consistency, in UK English and with every change tracked.
- Specialists with Master's and PhD degrees
- Fixed price agreed before work starts
- Free changes within your brief
What you get
After weeks with a document it is hard to see your own mistakes. A fresh reader catches the typos, missing words and inconsistent spellings that slip through.
Proofreading does not change your content or structure. If you need more than a final check, see our editing service.
- Spelling and grammar
- Corrected in UK English unless you ask for US English.
- Punctuation
- Commas, apostrophes, quotation marks and hyphenation.
- Consistency
- Terms, capitals, numbers and abbreviations used the same way throughout.
- Formatting check
- Headings, page numbers, captions and table of contents.
